Rep. Noujaim, Governor honor retiring Principal Barbara Carrington-Lawlor
Rep. Selim Noujaim addressed an excited 2010 graduating class at Crosby High School in Waterbury Monday night but the loudest applause were for retiring principal Barbara Carrington-Lawlor. Rep. Noujaim read a proclamation from Governor M. Jodi Rell naming Monday, June 14, 2010, as Barbara Carrington-Lawlor Day in the state. Noujaim praised her 38 years as a dedicated educator and thanked her for her service to the City of Waterbury and the thousands of students she has interacted with.
